Contracts Specialist in Newark, NJ

Remote ( 1 per month day in the office required )

Responsible for developing, negotiating, drafting and interpreting contracts of varying scope and complexity in accordance with corporate policies and business strategies.

The role involves but it not limited to:

• Drafting, review, negotiate and build consensus on Risk Adjustment and Medical Economics contracts for example, Saas, Subscription & Software License agreements, NDA, BAA, Master Vendor Services agreements;
• Provide business clients with advise of potential risks and opportunities related to contract negotiations, and management of the risk;
• Clear communications with stakeholders regarding expectations, risk, regulatory compliance and risk.

Communicate Education/Experience:

• Paralegal Certificate or in-house legal experience highly desirable;
• Minimum 5 years direct experience in negotiating and drafting contracts
• Excellent communication, analytical and writing skills.
• Knowledge of Risk Adjustment and Medical Economics required.

Knowledge:

• Experience in the following areas, a plus: IT licensing, maintenance and support services, finance, insurance,; Healthcare industry, insurance company regulation, corporate governance, and subsidiary maintenance.
