2 days in office, 1 day on the field , 2 days WFH

 

Duties:

  • A PMP Certification is required for this position.
  • Required to have a bachelors degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years Project Managment expereince.
  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects as assigned and within the parameters of cost, quality, schedule and objective.
  • Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
  • Prepares reports for upper management regarding the status of projects.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Provides leadership for project team members and the Project Managment process.
  • Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department requirieng the intergration of multiple functional organizations.
  • Must follow and adhere to Project Management Process and Requirements.
  • PMP Certification Required within 6 months of job assignment.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Utility experience in the area of construction.
  • Position will require construction of projects in substations therefore, experience working in substations is preferred as well as experience working with OCC to obtain needed HREs.
  • Job will require to manage several projects in different phases of their lifecycle.

 

Top 3 skills needed:

  • Availability to travel, organizational skill, process oriented

 

Candidate MUST haves:

  • Construction experience, utility experience, PMP certification

  • Bachelors Degree

 

Technical/Software:

  • Construction, engineering, substations, communications

 

Additional information:

  • Experience in client system, OCC, T&S, Distribution is greatly appreciated.
