 ON SITE ROLE

 

The opportunity:

  • Client  is a leading manufacturer of containerboard, paperboard, corrugated and consumer packaging with annualized net sales of $20B. Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, the company has a significant corporate presence in Richmond, VA and a presence in 30 countries.
  • This role will be a part of the Packaging Machinery and Automation group.
  • The business is a vital piece of the enterprise solution strategy by building and deploying machines globally.
  • These machines bring our company’s and customer’s products together for the consumer.
  • Reporting to the business’ Global Senior Finance Manager, the Account Receivable Specialist for Packaging Machinery and Automation, Atlanta will work closely with the Technical Sales Managers and Service Team in Atlanta, GA and is responsible for processing invoices and making sure jobs are closed on time.

How you will impact Client:

  • Prepare and manage internal and external billing.
  • Work closely with the Technical Sales Managers to verify discrepancies and account for projects add-ons.
  • Work closely with the Service Organization to verify costs and billing information.
  • Monitor open jobs and make sure timely job closing.
  • Respond to and resolve internal and external billing questions.
  • Ensures all documentation is in order and coordinates with the shipping department prior to product shipment.

 

What you need to succeed:

  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 2-5 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar roles.
  • Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures in a timely manner.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills, attention to accuracy.
  • Proficient data entry skills.
  • Team player and great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in MS Office skills (particularly Excel); Job Scope and/or IFS is desired.
  • No travel requirement.
