Process Engineer in Minneapolis, MN

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Summary:

Evaluate materials and develop machinery and processes to manufacture materials for use in products that must meet specialized design and performance specifications.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement manufacturing processes and equipment, in a manufacturing environment.
• Analyze product failure data and laboratory test results to determine causes of problems and develop solutions.
• Monitor material performance and evaluate material deterioration.
• Conduct tests on raw materials or finished products to ensure their quality. Solve problems in a number of engineering fields, such as mechanical, chemical, electrical, civil, nuclear, and aerospace.

MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor degree in engineering required.
• 2 to 4 years experience required.
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
• Team player and detail oriented. Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations they undergo.
• Knowledge and prediction of the physical principles, laws and their interrelationships.
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
