Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Candidates will typically have 4 years of experience with AI/ML technologies.
  • Experience delivering technical presentations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with architecture design, implementing, tuning, schema design, and query optimization of scalable and distributed systems.
  • Experience with developing data warehousing, data lakes, batch/real-time event processing, streaming, data processing (e.g., Extract, transform, load/Extract, Load, and Transform), data migrations, data visualization tools, and data governance on cloud native architectures.
  • Experience with technical sales or professional consulting in the fields of cloud computing, data, information life-cycle management, and ML operations.
  • Experience in VertexAI and LLM.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing (e.g., infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data), cloud market, engaged dynamics, and customer buying behavior.

  • As a Customer Engineer, you will work with technical Sales teams as a Machine Learning (ML) subject matter expert to differentiate Client Cloud to our customers.
  • You will help prospective customers and partners understand the power of Client Cloud, explaining technical features, helping customers design architectures, and problem-solving any potential roadblocks.
  • You will work with customers and product development to shape the future of the AI/Generative AI platform.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
  • Own the technical relationship with Client’s customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
  • Demonstrate and prototype Client Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments.
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure to implement a complete solution on Client Cloud.
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.
