Business Analyst in US-Remote

Business Analyst - Open for Fully Remote

• Experienced BA to support Agile Scrum team for requirement gathering for Digital Transformation
• Several websites with interfaces and consolidating into one platform
• Additional functionality will also be pushed out to the website as a part of this process
• Likely another 2-years on the project (the position could be extended out to 2 years for the right person)

Day-to-day:-
       Working with SME’s, users, developers and leaders to gather requirements
-       BA along with Developers and Agile Scrum team will then work to develop the requirements into production
-       Agile methodology used with the SCRUM team structure
-       Will attend sprint planning, sprint reviewed, etc.
-       Create User Stories
-       API background? – will consider both functional and technical, but really leaning more towards the functionals

Requirements:-
        Excellent and effective communicator (up, down and around the org)
-       Inquisitive mindset/learner’s mindset
-       Direct BA experience 3-5 years+ working with software implementations

       Experience working on a larger project or program team
-       Experience with Azure DevOps (to capture user storied and track the development cycle)
-       Experience with the Agile methodology, SCRUM teams and SCRUM ceremonies
-       Energy background, specifically electric and gas industry

Team Structure:-
       1 project team made up of smaller sub-teams; Project team has a Product Owner and Project Manager and every sub team has 1 BA supporting 5-7 developers and there are 4 sub-teams; plus two lead BA’s

Education:-
       Bachelor’s degree required at minimum
