Munich based DC support - Data Center Engineer (Hybrid)

At least b2 level German speaker

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining physical servers, storage units, network devices, and other IT infrastructure within the data center.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and prevent equipment failures.
• Troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues to minimize downtime and ensure data center operations.
• Install, configure, and maintain VMware environments, including vSphere, ESXi, and vSAN.
• Manage and monitor VMware infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Deploy and manage virtual machines (VMs) within VMware environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware, Hyper-V infrastructure and other virtualized environments.
• Collaborate with other team members to support Data Center operations and projects.
• Utilize knowledge of Cisco UCS blades for server provisioning and management.
• Manage DNS, DHCP, and file services to ensure availability and reliability.
• Provide support for Windows and Linux OS
• Troubleshoot operating system and server hardware issues to resolution.
• Perform patching and upgrades
• Maintain and update documentation
