Door-to-door canvassing will be required.

This position supports construction project public affairs/project outreach through a combination of internal and external resources to meet program goals:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of field outreach needed to ensure timely and effective notification of construction impacts to customers and businesses, including gathering multiple schedules and prioritizing and setting a work schedule for the week ahead;
  • Maintain the day-to-day safety and communication logistics of field outreach work and keeping a pulse on variable field conditions, amending the schedule as necessary;
  • Track all field notification data inclusive of street span for notifications made, number of businesses and homes touched, critical facilities identified along the route, as well as identifying any major issues that need the attention of a Public Affairs Specialist (PAS);
  • Maintain inventory control of outreach materials, including doorknob hangers, letters, etc., including the tracking of monthly expenditures;
  • Development, preparation and analysis of operational reports (customer interaction tracker, etc.)
  • Development and generation of ad-hoc reports and operational reports from the existing system;
  • Support construction website updates;
  • General knowledge of campaign canvassing, door-to-door delivery

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience: business/communications experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated Excel, PowerPoint, Word and PC skills
  • General knowledge of campaign canvassing, door-to-door delivery

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience of demonstrated analytical ability, quantitative and presentation skills

  • Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record (gas reimbursement will be provided)
