Typical Day in the Role

Purpose of the Team:

  • The purpose of this team is Develop, maintain, and manage program requirements, plans, timeline, issues, risks and challenges.
  • Support Managers to drive a program or projects.
  • Work closely with program/process owners, stakeholders, and business partners to identify business change and drive the consensus necessary to adopt a manageable change strategy.
  • Manage programs and projects involving multiple parties/organizations with conflicting agendas and business priorities.
  • Lead cross-organization project teams towards targeted and scheduled outcomes.
  • Engage with program/process owners, stakeholders and business partners as necessary to communicate project objectives, strategy, tactics, and ongoing progress.
  • Key projects: This role will contribute to supply execution team, demand reserve timings, work with stakeholders
  • Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of
  • 70% managing demands tactically, 30% strategically improving items

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Years of Experience Required: 2-4 however 5+ overall years of experience in the field.
  • Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor’s degree is required to be eligible for this role.

  • The role of Supply Chain Operations Manager be a part of a team responsible for supporting Cloud solutions.
  • They will be part of the supply chain operations team focused on the following key areas:
  • Key link between our Capacity Planning Team and the Build Order & Fulfillment Team, responsible for the stabilization of supply-demand shaping.
  • Utilizing data and analytics for supply matching to our capacity planning and customer demand requirements.
  • Establishing and defining key metrics and performance indicators driving process improvements.

 

The individual filling this role will:

  • High Focus on Demand – Supply shaping activities to help drive the execution and delivery of finished goods to global data centers.
  • Maintain company inventory, minimizing both overstock and out of stock occurrences.
  • Ability to analyze the supply and demand of products and forecast.
  • Monitor inventory supply and design and implement tools for inventory management. Develop and drive Internal and external key performance Indicators and metrics.
  • Manage and communicate tradeoffs between our supplier and business needs within Responsible for managing continuous improvements and process initiatives in parallel to day-to-day business operations Skills and qualifications
  • Current Experience in IT / high-tech electronics or Manufacturing / Service supply chain Excellent communication, problem solving skills
  • ability to manage competing priorities, set clear expectations, collaborate, identify objectives, develop and deliver feedback in written, oral, and presentation formats for partner teams, and senior executive management.
  • Strong Project Management skills involving multiple global System Integrators and Internal partners.
  • High comfort with handling multiple ongoing priorities and escalations.
  • Capable of performing complex data analysis to identify problems or opportunities to improve supply chain performance Skilled in Customer Relationship building, and Cross-functional collaboration opportunities.
  • Strong skills and knowledge in root cause analysis/problem solving and the ability to implement and drive corrective actions and efficiencies (ability to hold people accountable, and drive closure) Ability to work well in ambiguous situations, and deal effectively with conflicting priorities and changes Support organization-wide projects to improve delivery, reliability, and agility; leveraging others effectively to support internal business team goals Minimal travel is required.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Ops/Industrial /Manufacturing engineering, Business, or equivalent experience in related fields Minimum 4-7 years' supplier management experience in an Electronics, or high-volume supply chain and or applicable Manufacturing / Hardware production environment.
  • Minimum of 4+ years Program Management and data analytics Preferred Experience:
  • Strong understanding in the use of MRP, Excel, Power Point, SQL, Access, and Power BI 4+ years' supplier management experience in an Electronics, or high-volume supply chain and or applicable Manufacturing / Hardware production environment MS/MBA preferred is an equal opportunity employer.
