Bio-Conjugation Scientist

  • The successful candidate will contribute to a team working on design and characterization of drug candidates based on protein conjugates.
  • They will contribute to the development of therapeutics such as antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), nucleic acid conjugates (siRNA, antisense, etc.), and peptide/small molecule conjugates.
  • This scientist will work closely with team members and will primarily be responsible for conjugation, purification, and analytical characterization of these molecules.
  • They will also be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, summarizing, and presenting experimental data.
  • Additional responsibilities may include laboratory duties such as instrument and inventory maintenance.
  • Previous bioconjugation experience is preferred but is not required to apply.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a B.S. degree (or equivalent), at least 2 years of work experience, and training/experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Biochemistry
  • Protein science
  • Conjugation chemistry
  • preparative and/or analytical chromatography

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of problem solving, good organizational habits, excellent communication skills, the ability to work under timelines, and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
