Associate Project Manager - Neuroscience (Entry Level)

Position Summary:

  • As an Associate Project Manager focused on Neuroscience, you will work closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams to support the development and management of neuroscience-focused projects.
  • You will assist in planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
  • This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about neuroscience and interested in gaining hands-on experience in project management within a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets. Support project leads in setting milestones, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and integrate inputs into project plans. Facilitate communication among team members and help resolve any issues or delays.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and presentations. Ensure accurate and timely updates are communicated to stakeholders.
  • Resource Management: Help coordinate resource allocation and manage project-related expenses. Assist in tracking and reporting on budgetary aspects of the project.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and assist in the development of mitigation strategies. Proactively address challenges and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
  • Operational Efficiency: Support project management processes and tools. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and team dynamics.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • An advanced degree (e.g., Master’s) or relevant certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience: No prior project management experience required. Relevant internships or academic projects in neuroscience or related fields are beneficial.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
