Application Developer in Waltham, MA

20 hours per week. 6-9 years of experience Hybrid

Must Have:
Good understanding and experience with unstructured data sets and data processing to display in charts for general consumption.
Basic statistical understanding. 
Work hours can be flexible, as long as deadlines can be met by the worker. The worker will also be required for ad hoc meetings during normal working hours, as needed.
Webapp development in RShiny preferred; but Streamlit, dash, flask, nodeJS/D3 experience is also a plus.
Understanding and experience with Snowflake and Postgres a plus

Job Description:

• Responsible for various development tasks throughout the development cycle.
• The role includes providing feedback based on specific change requirements and business needs while adhering to project schedules.
• Additionally involved in maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with established web development guidelines.
• Expertise will be crucial in implementing and maintaining web applications, including content updates, code enhancements, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

• Years of Experience: 6 - 9 years
• Proficiency in R: Demonstrated ability to work with R for statistical analysis, modeling, and data manipulation.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions.
• Experience with Web Development: Familiarity with web development guidelines and best practices.
• Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
