  Job Description

Work Hours: 12pm-10:30 pm (Tue - Fri)

 

10 hour shifts

Phd will be overqualified for this role
 
HPLC and ELISA exp is not needed for this role
 
Spectrophotometer and moolecular science background needed
  • Job will require standing and lifting up to 20 pounds
  • Support activities in lab
  • 90% work is bnench lab work
  • Recents grads with academic or internship exp will work
  • Pipetting skills, understand scales and other lab equipment
  • Engineering degree will also work but should have scientific lab exp
  • Science background needed (Any scientific degree will work)
  • Must be comfortable wearing full afce mask, lab coat and other things needed for the job
  • Bench lab work

  • Must be able to 5 hours work in 2 - 5 degree Celcius
  • Associates degree will lab exp will work as well
  • Exp doing molecular work

Description

  • These positions are 4 10-hour shifts 12pm-10:30pm; one Mon-Thurs, the other Tues-Fri

Duties:

  • In this role you will produce material for use in immunology-based chromatography and enzyme tests.
  • This job description will be reviewed periodically and is subject to change by management.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and supports the production schedule
  • Investigates problem areas and areas of desirable improvement
  • Undertakes new procedures and observes proper safety precautions
  • Responsible for in-process QC testing of manufacturing material as it relates to qualifications, quality inspections and titration.
  • Maintains quality systems and proper GMP/GLP
  • Creates and follows protocols designed around product improvement
  • Responsible for making critical and non-critical bioreagents for use in product and manufacturing processes using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Works in a team setting and coordinates manufacturing efforts based upon a set  production schedule and maintaining the raw bioreagent supply as needed to support this schedule.

Basic Qualifications | Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior Experience in the following areas:

  • Pipette
  • Spectrophotometry
  • pH meters
  • Gel Electrophoresis
  • SDS Page

Competencies:

  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with moderate supervision.
  • Skill in using computer applications including spreadsheet, database, manufacturing, and word processing software.
