Position Summary:

  • The AV & Tech Liaison assists in ensuring world class experiences for guests attending the Orlando campus.
  • Every aspect of a guest’s journey on campus is carefully planned and executed with the highest quality and personalized service.
  • This role will work closely with group planning contacts, coaches/facilitators and on-site employees at the Lake Nona Training facility consisting of 3 training rooms (up to 30ppl), 3 conference rooms (8ppl), 1 large café with built in technology (max seating 100ppl).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set-up and test built in Classroom Audio Visual Equipment on-site for daily meetings.
  • Provide AV assistance to coaches and facilitators.(Supporting facilitators/clients in connecting with on-site equipment)
  • Trouble shoot technology challenges for employees and visiting guests/facilitators.
  • On-site Tech for Executive Meetings, in person & Hybrid.
  • On-site AV & Tech liaison for campus equipment. (ie: Support in troubleshooting with off-site IT/AV for printers, monitors, employee laptops, macs, internet testing, etc.)
  • Participate in pre-planning prep calls as needed.
  • Run general equipment updates on technology on campus.
  • Familiarize and upskill on existing campus equipment & software (Microsoft office, Teams, Zoom, Power Point, Zoom Enabled rooms with ceiling mics & cameras, projectors, microphones, PC & Mac devices)
  • Update and Manage Campus SharePoint site.
  • Upload new content for digital signage on campus.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Certification in Audio Visual Technology preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively.
  • Comfortable having a high level of interaction with executives, department heads and strategic business partners.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills as well as exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • Love for technology and digital upskilling. Willingness to learn and integrate into new technology.
  • Ability to troubleshoot AV & IT equipment and find solutions in a high pressure environment.
  • Strong Organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours on occasion.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations and exhibit a professional presence with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, ability to bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
