  Job Description

Onsite – Lake County

Length of the assignment: 6 months with possibility of extension.

Open for candidates who are ready to relocate at their own expense
  • LCMS exp will also work
  • Masters degree will be considered
  • Analytical or QC lab exp will not work for this role
  • LIMS is used for data processing
  • HPLC exp is a must have
  • 2 yrs exp in bio analysis
  • Attention to detail
  • GLP exp
  • running bio analysis
  • HPLC-MS platform
  • extracting compounds of interest like plasma, serum, whole blood  and other fluids
  • Good document skills 
  • Exp HPLC-MS needed
  • Beginner Mass spectrometry will also work but 2 yrs exp preferred
  • Documentation skills is the most important (ELN)
  • 100% bio-analysis work
  • Bioanalysis analytical lab work needed (Highly desired)
  • Bioanalytical method development is a plus (Bonus)
  • Medicinal chemistry background will not work for this role

Description:

Scientist position in regulated (GLP) bioanalysis.

Job Skills/Experience required:

  • 2+ years of bioanalytical sample analysis using HPLC-MS

General lab skills:

  • lab safety, solution preparations, use of balances, pH meter,pipettes, and other instruments
  • Knowledge of bioanalytical extraction techniques and Instrumentation: PPT, LLE, SPE -Intermediate experience with HPLC-MS, Data Processing and Analysis (SCIEX Analyst)
  • Good documentation skills (ALCOA) -Well versed in GLP and other regulatory requirements
  • Work with Laboratory Information Management Systems
