  • Prepare and present project progress reports to keep management and team informed.

  • Working in matrix management structure
  • working though a medical device development program
  • Project management experience needed
  • PM role supporting a cross functional team program
  • Working with cross functional team (90% of the time)
  • Organised
  • Translate project goals into project tasks.
  • General familiarity with EDMS
  • Bachelor’s degree Scientific or engineering field will work
  • 3-5 plus yrs exp needed

Summarize the main purpose of the role.

  • Responsible for subcomponent of a project and/or assists Program Manager.  
  • Confirms completion of activities with cross-functional team, coordinates among team members.  Follows quality/regulatory requirements

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Expertise and Problem Solving Duties:
  • Coordinate input from multiple areas with assistance from manager.
  • Clarify project objectives and strategies, develop timelines and milestones with assistance from manager.
  • Develop a preliminary implementation plan.  Propose contingency plans to accommodate unforeseen events.
  • Able to write a design and development plan as required by QA/RA.
  • Translate project goals into project tasks.  Define the nature of the stated business or technical problem.
  • Resolve current issues, learn, and adjust based on prior results.
  • Recognize the broader implications of actions and proposals on the final project outcome
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to keep management and team informed. Identify problems and work to resolve them.
  • Analyze date for true causes of problems.
  • Accountability/Required Supervision:
  • Negotiate schedules, milestones, and resource requirements to meet project outcomes.
  • May function as the project contact with third party vendors.
  • Accountable for the successful completion of project tasks under direct or matrix control.
  • Leadership Activities:
  • Solicit the cooperation of a diverse group of disciplines and functions in a tactful and persuasive manner.
  • Lead others in the completion of project tasks.
  • Assist in the decision-making process.
  • Creates a work environment that supports team effectiveness.
  • Level of interpersonal skills:
  • Interface with other disciplines, customers, internal clients, and project staff
  • Prepare and presents written and oral reports and other presentations. Adjusts presentation style and content to suit the audience.

Education

  • Bachelors Degree (± 16 years)
  • In a discipline appropriate to the project

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year - To understand systems and procedures.
  • Limited project management experience, with demonstrated leadership skills on portions of a project or other activities.
