Typical Day in the Role

  • Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is part of the Client Azure infrastructure CSA, responsible for Azure infrastructure sales strategy and market approach.
  • They define fiscal year priorities, manage programs to support sales to customers, track metrics, and build resources for customer engagement.

 

Key projects: This role will contribute to:

  • The key responsibilities for the role focusing on the Independent Software Vendor program include managing a joint selling framework with global partners to sell Azure infrastructure, engaging with partners to identify joint opportunities, connecting Client and partner sellers to approach customers, supporting program execution, defining requirements, orchestrating cross-organization teams, and monitoring progress to address gaps in partnership with sales strategy leads

  • Global exposure, as the roles involve accountability for the global strategy for Azure infrastructure, offering interaction with different business units, subsidiaries, and cultures.

Priority ISV Program Management support including:

  • Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of business/sales programs, from initiation to closure.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and communication to drive project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Establish and maintain effective project governance structures and communication channels.
  • Ensure projects adhere to industry best practices, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
  • Interface with client on technical and/or project matters from project initiation through delivery.
  • Create and maintain program/project schedules and status reports.
  • Create the functional specifications and/or requirements or scope that will be used as a tool in making decisions as to how the product, service and/or project will be implemented.
  • Provide technical and/or analytical information and receive input and approval as required.
  • Organize cross functional activities ensuring that the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
