Hybrid

Duration: 1 year

Conversion to perm: Yes – Possible after 6 months

Work week: Mon to Fri

Overtime: If necessary

 

Summary:

  • This position is responsible for project set-up, monitoring the progress of the project and Customer billing.
  • This person will work closely with Project Managers and with customers ensuring the projects are completed on time.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

In addition to being able to proficiently perform all of the functions of a Contracting Project Administrator I, must be able to perform these additional duties:

  • Oversee large projects to ensure contract compliance and successful completion.
  • Must be capable of reviewing and understanding terms and conditions of large projects.
  • Assists with the accurate and timely recording of project costs.
  • Schedule and participate in internal project team meetings to ensure accurate transfer of information.
  • Ability to read and comprehend construction schedules.
  • Monitors and adjusts AIA schedule of values.
  • Provides assistance in forecasting of corporate revenue projection.
  • Communicate project concerns with Project Managers and legal staff.
  • Coordinates with various staff for accurate and timely recording of project costs, including time sheets, daily reports, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Must Have

  • Bachelors Degree OR 2 yrs+ experience working in similar role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel – Intermediate)
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal & Written)

 

Nice To Have

  • Experience in general accounting and a general knowledge of construction & contract administration.
