  Job Description

 

We are seeking an experienced recruiter to lead the hiring of interns from universities and technical schools, with oversight of national diversity initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to attract top talent from diverse educational institutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and hire interns from universities and technical schools across the country.
  • Manage and implement a national diversity-wide initiative, ensuring an inclusive approach to talent acquisition.
  • Attend career fairs, job fairs, and networking events to promote opportunities and engage with prospective candidates.
  • Collaborate with academic institutions, including Midwest and Mid-Atlantic universities, Penn State, and RTI, to build strong relationships and pipelines for talent.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events to expand the employer brand and reach.
  • Travel as needed to attend events and meet recruitment goals.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition, with a strong understanding of sourcing practices.
  • Proven track record of success in recruiting interns from both universities and technical schools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations, including the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions, to attend recruitment events and conferences.

General Information


 
Responsible for high volume full life-cycle recruiting for assigned clients. Based on business needs, source candidates and develop diverse slates of candidates. Interview candidates to determine knowledge, skills, and abilities compared to job scope and requirements. Evaluate candidate fit to company needs and make recommendation to hiring managers based on these interviews. Manage candidate experience including positioning the opportunity & company, administer technical exercises, phone screens, coordinate interview schedules, administer pre-employment assessments, summarize feedback, make hiring recommendations, and manage the offer process. Manage position vacancies using an applicant tracking system (ATS): posting vacancies, searching the database, reviewing resumes, forwarding resumes and maintaining candidate activity. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business related field or Human Resources discipline, 5-7 years of experience in high volume full life cycle recruiting, preferably in a corporate environment. Prefer industry experience.
