Interconnection – Residentials/Developers – solar Panel to Generates power and Sell it

Hybrid - T, T, TH - Onsite, M-F

Duties:

• Seeking a dedicated Interconnection Specialist to support our solar panel interconnection processes for residential and developer clients.
• Process DER Interconnection applications from software platform. Speaking with customers on occasion regarding questions with the application process or status
• This role involves managing interconnection applications, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering excellent customer service.
• You’ll collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and assist customers with their inquiries, ensuring a seamless experience in the generation and sale of solar energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end interconnection application process for residential and developer solar projects.
• Track and manage application timelines to ensure timely processing and meet service-level agreements.
• Develop and update job aids to enhance the interconnection process and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy across all interconnection records and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding them through the interconnection process.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, ensuring smooth collaboration across departments.

Qualifications:

• In lieu of bachelor’s degree 3 to 6 years business experience required.
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to solar energy, net metering, interconnections, or utility distribution.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Previous experience in customer service, with a proven record of delivering high-quality service and problem resolution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in solar sales, net metering, utility distribution, or interconnection processes is highly desirable.
• Ability to develop customer-friendly process aids and resources.
