High Voltage Utility Estimator

Prior experience working at an Electric Utility in the capacity of an Estimator, Engineer, or Project Manager.

Work Schedule Flexible: Monday & Friday, in office Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

Top 3 skills needed 

• Ability to read project diagrams & construction drawings, strong communication skills (must be able to present estimated cost to Project Teams and Leadership), experience using estimating software.

Candidate MUST haves

• Prior estimating experience in high voltage electrical construction and/or civil work construction.

 Years of experience

• 5-10 years

Education requirements/Specific Degree Needed 

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, OR High School Diploma and 6-10 years of relevant estimating experience.

Specific Experience

• Estimating software such as InEight, WinEst, Accubid, Sage, Timberline or equivalent.

 Deal Breakers

• Must be in office Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - no exceptions.

Specific project/projects contractor would be working on

• Overhead & Underground Transmission, Substation Construction, and Overhead & Underground Distribution projects.
