Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Support Specialist with a focus on dispatching activities to support the Solid Waste Management Department. This role involves coordinating and preparing schedules for dumpster services, managing incoming dispatch requests, and ensuring requests align with contractual terms. The ideal candidate will excel in multitasking, organization, and customer communication. Strong people skills are essential to educate requesters as needed regarding contract compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and dispatch dumpster services as per the scheduled requirements with vendors
• Review incoming dispatch requests against contract terms and educate requesters on any discrepancies.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Support contract management activities, particularly in relation to solid waste contracts.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a dispatching or project support role, ideally within a contract management setting.
• Knowledge of SAP and ARIBA is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

Bachelor’s degree preferred
