If hybrid, # of days contractor will be required to work onsite: On site 50% of time, 

Daily Schedule: Part time, 25hour a week. Flexible schedule offered based on ability to self-manage

Candidate Requirements
  • Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role.
  • Disqualifiers: Candidates who are not interested in a long term part time position will not be eligible for the role.
  • In addition candidates who do not have experience in relevant industries like financial services or technology, or lack corporate event planning experience, are not proficient in Microsoft Office tools, have effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently will not be a good fit for the position.

Typical Day in the Role
  • Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to assist with organizing morale and networking events, customer and community engagement activities, and handles operational logistics. They focus on employee engagement, digital upskilling, and philanthropic initiatives, occasionally supporting sales teams by facilitating developer-customer interactions.
  • Key projects: This role will contribute towards planning a holiday event, focusing on employee engagement, digital upskilling, and training. Coordinating philanthropic activities and occasionally support sales teams with customer-facing events.
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of the following,
  • 10% - Meetings; Twice a week, 30-minute sync meetings to discuss progress and provide assistance
  • 50% - Event Planning and Coordination; Managing and organizing upcoming events, including vendor interactions and logistics
  • 20% - Administrative Tasks; Handling emails, scheduling, and other clerical duties
  • 20% - Research and Budget Management; Researching venues, managing budgets, and preparing proposals
