Senior Controls System Engineer in Minneapolis, MN

We are looking for a Controls System Engineer.

The role is hybrid (2 to 3 days a week in the office)

This role will report to hiring manager and is not leading others.

• Control team to work it internal team for their need and turn them into feature

• Role lays on between customers' need, talk to the team who can actually deliver that need

• Familiar with codes, to give quality input to the developer team

• Tools: Excel, PPT, HPE, ALM/ LMS; Jason, Azure (ADO), JIRA

• Electrification industry, HMI, PLC

• This is project based; types of project: controls projects (managing the hardware & software designs of  products).
• Provide systems oversight on controller development projects and ensure that the development team has clear requirements / specifications to work from.
• This role requires the individual to write requirements for the software designer to work from.

Skills and Competencies:

• Creativity

• Ability to perform common computations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.

MUST HAVE

• Bachelor degree in engineering required.
• 5 + years experience in hardware & software designs.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• MS Office Suite
• Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field.

NICE TO HAVE

• HP-ALM tool experience or similar
• Leadership experience (abitity to provide direction, present to leadership, take charge)
• Automotive, Energy, Aviation, Refrigeration, Robotics Industry
