POSITION TITLE: Associate Scientist

DURATION: 1 YEAR

100% ON SITE

The Associate Scientist in In-Process Analytics is expected to execute scientific studies in support of technical programs as they progress from early development into Phase I/II and Phase III. The appointee will work in the In-process Analytics (IPA) team, within the Drug Substance - Technical R&D unit

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Executing routine characterization assays of Drug Substance including analytical HPLC and plate based assays

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Scientific degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related field
• Previous Industry or laboratory experience
• Hands on Experience with analytical HPLC or plate based assays
• Fluent Spoken/Written English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with industry standard high throughput screening and automation technologies
• Understanding of polysaccharide chemistry
• Understanding of protein biochemistry
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and communicate effectively
