Job Summary:

Key Competencies

• Implementation of test automation tools used to test Client’s unit controls products.
• Work with other automation engineers to integrate unit controls, display, and Windows-based test automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing technical support and guidance to team members.
• Fixtures are mechanical and hardware systems that require the use of hand tools to build, debug, and maintain.
• Maintain and enhance existing test automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Software development of functional automated test scripts that provide comprehensive testing of the product requirements.
• Analyzing functional requirements, to generate a comprehensive set of test cases.
• Executing test procedures and automated test scripts as part of formal product testing.
• Conduct exploratory testing based on detailed knowledge of the product under test.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another field applicable to software development and automated software testing.
• 5 – 10 years of related experience in software development with 1 - 2 years of that work experience in software testing, test automation, application development, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Programming experience in C#.net and/or C++ and Python is desired. Or programming experience in LabVIEW is desired.
• Experience with TestStand is a plus.
• Experience with software test automation tools is desired.
• Must have good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment but also independently when needed, and ability to prioritize tasks under deadline pressures.
