Job Description

  • Independently worked on at least 2 to 3 mid to large-sized implementation projects.
  • Responsibilities include reviewing technical specifications and re-engineering program components.
  • Identifies and resolves simple to medium complexity production problems during the cutover phase.
  • Participates in code reviews.
  • Assists in definition of integration points between packaged apps and 3rd party systems.
  • Performs performance testing to check application characteristics and evaluate how application performs under normal or load conditions.
  • Creates technical documents outlining application overview, function, dependencies etc.
  • Unit test applications for functionality.
  • Coordinates with testing team to solve bugs.
  • Executes conversion plans such as conversion from legacy to newly developed applications, conversion plan for upgrades etc.
  • Possesses hands-on experience on the programming languages of one of the packages applications such as PLM/ ITSM/ ERP's: Oracle, JDA, SAP,ABAP, and BASIS. Has proficiency in developing simple to medium complexity SQL queries.
  • Has prior experience of working in the same platform and programming language.
  • Should be aware of basic information security awareness protocols, software security in the SDLC lifecycle, and OWASP Top 10 concepts.

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors B.E./ B.Tech / BCA
  • Masters M.Tech / MCA
  • Computer Science specialization highly desirable
