  Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Process Development and Optimization: Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Technology Transfer: Lead the transfer of new products and processes from R&D to manufacturing, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • Process Validation: Develop and execute validation protocols to ensure processes meet regulatory and quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, identifying and resolving process-related issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, validations, and changes in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, Production, and other departments to support product development and manufacturing activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of process development, scale-up, and validation in a regulated environment.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in statistical analysis and process optimization techniques.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex process issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
  • Project Management: Experience managing projects and leading cross-functional teams is advantageous.
