Work Schedule

  • Full time M-F. In office or field 3 days a week, or as project schedules require

Required:

  • Access to a car is required to report in-office or to a jobsite at least 3 days a week
  • Proficient in reading electrical prints
  • Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley accounting & forecasting principals

Preferred:

  • Experience managing medium voltage (12kV - 69KV) utility projects
  • Real Estate easement, zoning, and permitting experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365

Candidate MUST haves 

  • Ability to manage a portfolio of >25 projects in all stages of initiation, scope definition, design, construction, and closeout. Interconnection PMs need to manage competing priorities of Client resource constraints and Customer schedule and cost limitations, and be able to clearly communicate with all stakeholders.

Education Level/Type

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, including Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Construction Engineering. Others may be considered if candidate has strong Utility PM experience (5+ years).

Specific project/projects contractor would be working on

  • Portfolio of >25 DER Interconnection projects.
  • Primarily Community Solar projects involving feeder line extensions, substation upgrades, and contractual relationship with the customer/developer

Additional information

  • Ideally, we have candidates whose long term goals include taking opportunities within Client as a Project Manager.
  • This is a two-year contract but because our workload is expected to continue increasing through 2031, we anticipate opportunities for our internal team to expand in the coming years.
