Security Officer (Executive Safety) in Washington, DC

100% on-site – NO – Security Detail for Executives

Location: Must be local to Philadelphia, PA. 

40 hours wk with 10 hours expected possible weekly OT (max) – full-time contractor: working hours 1st and 2nd shift (will be discussed during interview)

Requirements

• Ability to provide physical security and safe driving services for senior Executives;
• ability to obtain/maintain required firearms licensing in appropriate jurisdictions
• ability to work evenings and weekends; ability to adapt to last minute assignment and schedule changes;
• ability to travel; ability to maintain confidentiality

Education:

• High school

What are this teams core accountabilities?

1. 3 years of experience in law enforcement or private security, performing Executive Transportation and Security services a plus
2. Former PD, Military, previous security encouraged to apply
3. Valid driving license – in good standing required
4. Other items related to role that will be important:
   1. Ability to drive and maintain a large SUV
   2. If authorized, ability to carry a firearm and meet Client training requirements (FOID firearm not required, but useful, helpful, please communicate on resume if candidate is legally licensed to carry in DC and in PA
   3. Responsive to last minute changes in schedule and assignment
   4. Flexibility in scheduling
   5. Excellent verbal communication skills
   6. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
