CAD Designer in Plymouth Meeting, PA

100% Onsite

Location: Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462

• CAD/ GIS experience
• Electric distribution background a plus
• Must have reliable transportation and phone

40 hours wk (8-5pm M-F)

6 months contract (may be extended depending on work needed)

Team Structure

• Needed to supplement staff in mapping and document services - work in GTech and Microstation on gas and electric prints.
• Team size around 45

Describe the current/future projects resource would support    

• MicroStation experience is a MUST 4-5 yrs+, Utility, gas/distribution exp A MUST, CAD exp 4-5 yrs+

Describe the day-to-day responsibilities resource would support

• Required to have experience preparing engineering drawings at a power facility or comparable facility.
• Prepares engineering drawings to support conceptual designs developed by engineers.
• Required to have demonstrated proficiency using CAD software or other design software.

• CAD exp 5 years+, MicroStation exp 4-5 yrs+
• 2 yr Technical Degree+ or equivalent certification (minimum) – no high school
• CAD software, utility/gas exp
• CAD experience/gas distribution/utility/MicroStation
• MicroStation (fast worker/knowledgeable)
• No MicroStation exp – will be disqualfied
