Summary
- We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (Scrum Master) reporting to the Director of software engineering at the Digital Transformation Office.
- The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) collaborates with a broad range of stakeholders involved in the clinical development process (e.g., Clinical Science, Clinical Operations, Medical Writing, Quality, Regulatory).
- Their work will cross multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, immunology, neuroscience, metabolism, and infectious disease.
- It will develop industry-leading solutions for highly complex business problems.
- To manage the design and pilot of these software products, they will apply a high degree of ingenuity and creativity while maintaining a finger on the pulses of the rapidly changing tech and healthcare landscapes.
- The Technical Program Manager will lead our agile development team in building innovative cloud-based software applications aimed at improving and accelerating clinical trials.
- This role will be instrumental in facilitating our development processes, driving project delivery, and ensuring effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
The Opportunity:
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring effective team engagement.
- Coordinate project timelines and deliverables, working closely with developers and engineers to ensure alignment on goals.
- Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Monitor team performance metrics and identify areas for improvement, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Manage project risks and proactively address challenges that may impact timelines or quality.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and encouraging feedback.
- Support and mentor team members in agile practices, helping them grow in their roles and improve team dynamics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met and that solutions are aligned with business objectives.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Technical Program Manager in a software development environment, preferably within healthcare or clinical trials.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks, particularly Scrum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana) and cloud-based technologies.
- Familiarity with software development processes and coding.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is preferred.
- Experience in AI technologies and their application in clinical trials.
- Demonstrated ability to drive project delivery in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.
- Experience in validation testing and timeline management
