Candidate Requirements

  • Years of Experience Required: 0-2 overall years of experience in the field.
  • Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role. It would be nice to have a degree, but it is not required.
  • Disqualifiers: None - however candidates with poor time management will not do well in this role as they will need to have a sense of urgency and meet deadlines.
  • Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain examples of being detail oriented and having organization skills (they will do roughly 100 orders a week to send out). Also resumes with Power Bi (will not need to do any reporting) would be a nice to have but not required. 

Typical Day in the Role

  • Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to support the Western region and is part of the DCO (Data Center Operations) for the Americas, Latin America, and Canada. They are looking to bring on a business admin to help with queuing and shipping equipment to new hires across data centers.
  • Key projects: This role will contribute to handling shipping equipment, replacing equipment, and managing new hire orders through their approval apps. In the future, the admin may occasionally assist with higher-level tasks like booking travel reservations and supporting higher-up projects within the data center but the primary role will be queuing and shipping equipment to new hires across data centers.
  • Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 10% meetings, 40 heads down (handling emails and support), 50% queuing and shipping equipment
