1st position Monday-Friday 2:00 PM -10:30 PM and 2nd Position: 10:00 PM to 6:30AM (Weekend support as needed )
3 to 6 months with possibility for contingent assignment extension for an additional 3 to 6 months.
We are seeking a managed service solution that will provide 24/7 on-site coverage.
The main pillars of the service include the following:
Monitoring
- An on-site electrician will physically monitor the environment by conducting periodic patrols.
Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- Responsible for managing PM activities according to Client's PM plan in collaboration with Client's subcontractors.
Malfunction Handling (MH)
- Electrical Incidents: Provide immediate response to incidents classified as L1 and L2.
- HVAC Incidents: Provide immediate response to incidents classified as L1.
Facility Overview:
The Data Center aims to be a model of technological excellence within Client, implementing best practices in managing the facility and its systems to achieve company goals. Key objectives include:
- Standardization of systems and workflows
- High-quality global infrastructure
- Excellent service quality
- System availability
- Efficiency and effectiveness
The facility operates with a focus on continuous improvement, energy efficiency,transparency, and full coordination with stakeholders. It also provides Level 1 and Level 2 on-site expertise for HVAC and electrical systems.
Work Environment:
- The site operates with redundancy and requires round-the-clock availability (24x7x365) to ensure service reliability, even under extreme conditions or emergencies.
- The environment includes potential risks like electrical hazards and extreme weather. The Systems Operator will act as the safety officer, in addition to technical duties
Responsibilities:
System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Ensure continuous, reliable operation of electromechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems per operational requirements. (Appendix A – Global URS)
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Monitor systems (electricity, cooling, safety) 24/7 and respond immediately to faults. Appendix B – Electromechanical equipment list)
Fault Handling:
- Identify faults via monitoring systems, patrols, or IT staff reports.
- Update relevant teams (e.g., IT Global Data Center Team) via communication channels like WhatsApp.
- Provide immediate response for each electromechanical system
- Manage vendors and subcontractors to address issues.
Facility Management:
- Execute maintenance strategies, including daily inspections and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain configuration control for power, cooling, and IT infrastructure.
- Supervise contractors and external maintenance teams during installations and upgrades.
Change Management:
- Oversee infrastructure changes, including quality assurance testing and approval processes.
- Prepare infrastructure (e.g., cabling, cooling) for new installations and modifications.
Safety and Compliance:
- Operate under site safety protocols, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
Operational Framework:
- Reports directly to the Global Data Center Manager.
- Works under the guidance of the facility's engineering and maintenance leadership.
- Adheres to the safety directives of the site’s safety officer.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certified electrician license.
- Basic HVAC knowledge and skills.
- Service availability 24/7 for incident response.
- Basic computer skills (Office suite, operating systems).
- Serve as Level1 support for incidents in HVAC, water, and air systems.
- Serve as Level1 & Level2 support for incidents in Electrical systems
- Strong service orientation, responsibility, independence, and a systemsoriented mindset.
