Paid parking required at this site Must Have Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Scientist role will be considered BS and MS degree, will consider candidates with PhD degrees
• In-vivo experience with working with rodents, handling
• Necropsy, taking tissues from rodents
• Experience with electronic notebook
• In vitro – RNA, protein, cell lines proteins.
• Graphpad experience

Nice to Have:

• Dosing mice, IV or IP, Subcutaneous experience

 Position Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled research specialist to join our team as a contractor, providing expertise in in vitro and in vivo techniques with a focus on neuromuscular diseases.
• This position will support ongoing research efforts and exploratory work, including experiments that require proficiency in in vivo work, molecular biology techniques and cell culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments to support neuromuscular research initiatives.
• Perform cell culture, cellular and molecular biology techniques.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data, providing insights to the research team.
• Maintain meticulous lab records and adhere to all laboratory safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Biology, Neuroscience, Immunology or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with in vitro and in vivo models.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with in vivo work.
• Knowledge of molecular biology techniques and cell culture.
• Demonstrated success in a research or lab-based setting.
