  Job Description

Drug Manufacturing Technician I

Onsite in Lake County

Length of assignment: 1 year possible extension

 

There are two first shift work schedules available to work.

  • Group #1, Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm. Overtime for Group #1 consists of working 1 hour prior to the start of shift (starting at 6:00AM) or staying 1 hour at the end of the shift (until 4:30PM).
  • Group #2, Monday – Thursday 6:00AM – 4:30PM. Overtime is not mandatory but is highly encouraged. Overtime for Group #2 consists of working 7:00AM-3:30PM on Friday (half days are available for Overtime on Fridays).

  NOTE:

  • The manager is not looking for candidates with warehouse experience.
  • He is interested in candidates who have experience handling syringes, vials, or needles such as caretakers, medical assistants, pharmacy techs, etc.

Description:

  • Labeling individual syringes/vials with patient numbers and placing into individual bags/cartons.
  • Placing tablets or capsules into bottles and labeling the bottle with individual patient numbers.
  • Small kit assembly, such as; placing IV bags and syringes into small cartons and labeling with individual patient numbers.
  • Labeling bottles, syringes, cards, and cartons.
  • Kit assembly.
  • Packing containers into corrugate.
  • Filling bottles and blisters using semi-automatic equipment.
  • Performing quality checks of documentation, drug product, and commodities.
  • Performing light housekeeping duties, and sanitizing workstations.
