Production Technician in Holland, MI

6 am - 2 pm

OT is mandatory

Summary:

• The Production Technician II will be responsible for inspecting welded equipment to identify any leaks, and taking corrective action as needed.
• This position requires collaboration with the welding department to ensure any identified issues are promptly fixed and re-tested.
• The Production Technician II will also be responsible for applying passivation for cleanup after welding repairs to ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leak Detection: Perform thorough inspections on welded equipment to check for leaks.
• Collaborate with Welders: If leaks are found, communicate and work closely with the welding department to make necessary repairs.
• Re-Testing: After repairs, re-test the equipment to ensure all leaks are properly sealed.
• Passivation: Apply passivation processes for the cleanup of welded items to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and tests conducted.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with safety guidelines and industry standards.
• Must have HS or GED
• 1 - 2 years relevant experience
