The typical hours of operation at 8:30 am – 5 pm, this is a hybrid position (~2 days , 3 days on-site)

• Pharm D is required
• Will be taking calls, using Chat, reviewing emails and provide responses to customers
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Will be handling adverse events or product quality inquiries
• Must have experience with adverse events or product quality
• Will be submitting inquiries based on what comes through calls, chat, or emails
• #1 focus will be on medical related requests
• Must have at least 2 years of experience
• Possible candidates to consider would be a Retail Pharmacist, or Hospital Pharmacist, or a Pharmacist at a clinical company

Position Title: Medical Information Specialist (Contractor), Medical Information Scientific Engagement (MISE)

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• This position is for a frontline therapeutic specialist who will be responsible for engaging healthcare professionals across all therapeutic areas in rich clinical dialogue by responding to unsolicited medical inquiries.
• Specialist may provide ad hoc customer support in the form of clinical discussions and/or literature search analysis.
• They will also assist with omnichannel processing and daily reconciliation support. Responsibilities also include compliance intake/reporting by identifying and documenting adverse event(s) and/or product quality complaint(s).
• Specialist may interact with business partners external to the MISE.

• Provide excellent customer service
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Minimum Qualification

• Advanced degree in Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Demonstrated ability to verbally communicate scientific information to healthcare professionals
• Experience managing complexity and ability to work independently
• Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Excellent analytical skill to identify gaps and root causes of issues and think out of the box to develop a solution.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical writing experience and proven ability to conduct literature searches
• Experience developing responses to scientific inquiries from healthcare professionals and/or consumers
