Typical Day in the Role

  • Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is the Digital Enterprise Sales team at Client. They operate as a digital-first sales force, meaning sellers typically interact with customers virtually rather than traveling. The team focuses on leveraging digital signals from the Global Demand Center to create opportunities and build pipelines.
  • The majority of the team focuses on a segment within the enterprise called "majors growth," covering roughly 2200 accounts.
  • The team has been in existence for about four years and has seen significant growth and investment, making it a priority within Client M Caps organization.

 

 Key projects: This role will contribute to:

  • This role will focus on partner engagement, which is crucial for scaling sales motions.
  • The team aims to increase productivity by reaching more customers through virtual interactions.
  • Specific roles within the team will focus on different solution areas: modern work, security, and business applications (biz apps).
  • The team is also working on increasing partner share metrics, both inbound and outbound, and building pipelines through partner engagement.

 

 Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of:

  • Digital Selling Motion: Focus on selling at scale, primarily through virtual interactions with customers and leveraging digital signals from the global demand center to create opportunities and build pipeline.
  • Partner Collaboration: Work closely with partners to scale sales motions, which is crucial for the success of the role.
  • Pipeline Management: Review and manage pipeline, build reports, and communicate insights to managers, sellers, and partners to grow the pipeline.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Utilize tools like MSX Insights to work with reports and analyze data.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including managers, sellers, and partners.

  

Candidate Requirements

  • Years of Experience Required: 2-4 overall years of experience in the field.
  • Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
  • Extensive experience in Client sales or partner sales, ideally more than the minimum required one year
  • Effectively manage and grow the pipeline, and to communicate with managers, sellers, and partners.

 

 Summary:

  • Drives digital transformation for organizations by ensuring an active and engaged channel ecosystem aligned to customer needs.
  • Drives connections between Client sellers and partners to deliver solutions to end customers

 

Job Responsibilities:

Co-Sell Partnerships 

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders (e.g., account team unit, solution team unit, business groups, digital sales and customer success unit) to orchestrate processes, to set expectations and generate trust. Refers to solution/practice maps or marketing campaigns to support partner strategy.
  • Drives leads and opportunities for co-sell-ready partners with internal teams and provides feedback on Solution/Practice map coverage or marketing campaigns.
  • Engages in partner-to-partner collaborations to provide solutions to customers and to scale offerings.

 

 

Skills:

  • Strong experience in core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, OR business development experience - Client sales and partner sales experience
  • Stakeholder management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical proficiency- working with reports, using MSX Insights
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

  

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
