Contract worker needed to assist with QC Microbiology Laboratory assignments.

Job Title: QC Associate

Location: Bothell, WA * 100% Onsite

Schedule: Wed-Sat 1:30PM-12AM shift**

Notes:

  • BS Degree in Microbiology Preferred
  • Okay with a recent grad who has experience working in a lab environment and is familiar with and/or has GMP experience.

The primary focus of the QC Associate position is to perform GMP testing to support product release and in-process testing within the QC Microbiology Department. This role will also provide technical support and troubleshooting for analytical or microbiological tests.

Duties/responsibilities include:

  • Experience with microbiology techniques such as environmental monitoring, microbial identification, water/gas sampling, and gram-staining.
  • Demonstrated experience with basic laboratory techniques and laboratory safety practices.
  • Identify and facilitate continuous improvement projects.
  • Experience with LIMS and ELN computer applications is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Technical writing skills and ability to effectively communicate with peers and department management.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work in a high-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work from multiple assignments.
  • Experience working in a GMP environment is preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or life sciences with minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a regulated industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
