Selected candidate must be willing to work in the Mississauga Campus 2 times a week minimum

Must Have

  • Experience as both a Senior BSA (writing user stories, stakeholder management) and Scrum Master
  • Experience with Data Visualisation (Tableau and Qlik)
  • Experience working within Agile teams; be able to explain a PO role

Summary

  • The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with the Pathology lab management team to develop solutions that enhance end-to-end workflows for Digital Pathology teams.
  • This role requires a working variety of stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements and ensure these are effectively communicated to both development and UX design teams.
  • The Business Analyst will document detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritize backlog items along with the product owner and participate actively in sprint activities.
  • Key responsibilities also include maintaining comprehensive documentation, supporting the implementation and testing phases, and identifying opportunities for improvements.
  • Additionally, the Business Analyst will be responsible for user onboarding and training to ensure seamless adoption of new workflows and solutions.

Duties

  • Requirement Gathering and Elicitation: Engage with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements.
  • Facilitate Clear Communication: Serve as a liaison to ensure requirements are effectively communicated.
  • User Story and Acceptance Criteria Development: Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Sprint Participation: Participate actively in sprint activities including planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Validate requirements with stakeholders and gather feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of business requirements and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and propose enhancements for business performance and workflows.
  • User Onboarding and Training: Provide training and onboarding for end-users to ensure seamless adoption of new workflows and solutions.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Biotechnology or Pharma
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively across multiple customers and IT functions
  • Large project implementation experience in a matrixed IT organization
