  Job Description

Notes from HM:

  • Role will be 100% onsite
  • Requires at least a Bachelors degree with 5 years of exp
  • at least a Masters degree with 2 years of exp
  • at least a PhD with 1 year of exp
  • Will be working with flow cytometry
  • Will be testing patient (human) samples, should have "human sample" experience
  • Will run machines and follow the processes
  • There will be a lot of Control Management
  • Must have experience with Assay Validation
  • Must have experience with CAR-T or gene/cell therapy (highly preferred)
  • Must have previous experience with human patient samples (cells)

Contactor, Analytical Development, Advanced Therapies, Characterization Method Development

 

Summary

  • The Advanced Therapies, Characterization Method Development group is seeking an energetic, highly motivated scientist to support CAR-T cell therapies.
  • The contactor will serve as a specialist in flow cytometry-based method development and assay validation.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute on multi-parameter flow cytometry assays
  • Test unique patient samples across all CAR T cell therapy programs
  • Test samples from our in-process manufacturing groups to better understand process modifications across CAR T therapy programs
  • Help keep a large inventory of reagent stocks maintained and well organized
  • Maintain good electronic lab notebook (ELN) practices to ensure proper data documentation
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The candidate is expected to work effectively in a team environment and well as contributing individually to meet project objectives and timelines.
  • Other duties will be assigned, as necessary.

Required:

  • PhD with 0 years of experience, master's degree with at least 2-3+ years of experience, bachelor's degree with at least 4-5+ years’ experience in an appropriate scientific discipline (cell biology, immunology, biological science, or related field) is required
  • Prior experience running multi-plex flow cytometry assays
  • Strong analytical problem solving, planning and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of standards: NIST 800-82, ISA/IEC 62443.
  • Also in the European States NIS2 will also apply to us going forward

Preferred:

  • Hands-on experience with CAR-T or other cell and gene therapy products
  • Experience in analytical method development and qualification
  • Experience with co-culture functional assays
