As a DTO Project Leader, you will play a critical role in the success of our new team dedicated to high-tech vertical growth markets.

  • You will be responsible for leading and managing projects that are essential to our mission of winning in the AI and data center sectors.

  • The Design to Order (DTO) team is dedicated to transforming high-tech customer requests into reality.
  • Our primary focus is to provide unique, customized solutions tailored to individual customer needs, rather than commercializing these options for the broader market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Schedule Management: Develop and manage project schedules for customer requests in high-tech vertical growth markets.
  • Process Development: Collaborate with the Design To Order (DTO) team to develop and create the Air Cooled DTO process.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability of special parts, processes, and designs for unique projects.
  • Customer Service Collaboration: Work closely with DTO and customer service teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • System Integration: Complete system integration tasks, including engineering design, engineering specifications, layout creation, and design reviews.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership to engineering teams, including engineers, designers, and lab technicians.
  • Job Tracking: Track and manage upcoming DTO jobs to ensure timely completion.
  • Customer Coordination: Coordinate build dates with the customer service team to manage customer expectations regarding arrivals.
  • Documentation: Update and create unique technical documents to accompany chillers at the time of shipment.
  • Design Support: Assist in the design of chillers when needed.
  • Initial Builds: Actively participate in initial DTO builds and manage action item lists to prevent issues in future builds.
  • Efficiency Improvement: Develop unique selections to increase efficiency in order entry for similar jobs in the future.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and help grow less experienced team members.
  • Travel: ~10% domestic

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in an Engineering discipline
  • 7+ years experience in product design, project leadership, or project management
