Position is 1 year from start date with possible extensions.

Onsite only in Alameda CA

We want a candidate to have:

  • Most critical is to have a stellar personality who can work with Sales people, sales managers, financial and contract people.
  • Will need to be able to build strong relationships with both department personnel and sales. So people skills is extremely important.
  • Ability to learn quickly ~ we have a number of systems are being used and need folks who are smart enough to pick up the skills and handle challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • At least a few years of office experience, ideally related to work with contracts
  • A 4-year degree related to business or finance
  • Ideally some experience working with Salesforce and/or Model N
  • A resume and/or an interview that helps us understand what they have accomplished in their career
  • And good interpersonal skills on an interview that will make us comfortable that they would fit well with our team.
  • Nice to have is healthcare exp., contract exp., strong Excel, Tableau, and/or Salesforce exp.

Role Responsibilities

  • Sales Support for contract generation and maintenance
  • Contract language review, comparison, and where necessary assistance with negotiation and communication
  • Contract and pricing input into system (Model N)
  • Salesforce Use
  • Excel reporting and pricing calculations and analytics
  • Various Report generation (primarily using Excel, Powerpoint, and Tableau)
  • Strong written and verbal Communication skills required

Experience

  • Healthcare industry experience very beneficial
  • Contracts and/or pricing experience very beneficial
  • Some professional office experience desirable
  • Sales support experience highly desirable

Education

  • Bachelors 4-year degree preferred but no lower than an Associates will be accepted.
  • Accounting/Finance background ideal (month-end closing type experience)

Skills ~ nice to have but not required. If have will move higher on the shortlisting list

  • Microsoft Excel skills very beneficial ~ Excel is used very often so having intermediate level and knowing how to do calculations.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint skills very beneficial
  • Tableau skills very beneficial
  • Salesforce and/or Model N experience a definite plus 

Question: Contract Admin title hard to find, any other titles stand out? A) don’t care what title was but if have a finance or accounting background that would be great.

Question: List in order the technical skills you would like to see? A) Excel experience doesn’t need to be an expert but comfortable in Excel and knowing how to do calculations would be great. Then Tableau or Salesforce. Again, not required but nice to have.

Question: What would you consider overqualified? A) Don’t want to exclude candidates with 5+ years of experience but would want to know the “story” on why they are interested in an Entry level position so the story would need to make sense if over 5 years of experience.

There is no cap of years of experience and will even consider a fresh grad who has provided thru school projects or internships that they have the stellar personality that is required.

Manager is open to relocation but at the candidates own expense.
