Phlebotomist I in Roanoke, VA

Description

• As stated, this will be for 10 total Phlebotomists at this hospital location. 
• Since this is a hospital, additional credentialing will be required and that will be non-negotiable.  If a candidate is not willing to go through all the necessary steps for onboarding, please do not submit them.
• This is an extremely large campus and contractors will be required to navigate at least 14 floors of workspace. 
• The elevator will not always be an option.
• This is the largest hospital in the SE United States and actually boasts that it is one of the largest private teaching hospitals in the US.
• It is a Level 1 Trauma Center – very very busy
• The hospital will require 24/7 coverage, of course, and there is shift differential offered for the role as this is technically considered part of Lab Ops in the Southeast region of Client. 
• 2nd shift has a 10% differential, 3rd shift has 15% differential, and weekend work carries 25% differential.  Depending on what shifts your worker covers will determine the rate to be offered.  For weekends, the worker will have another assignment to accurately capture the correct rate.  Offer rates will still utilize the attached breakout based on years of experience.
• Attendance and reliable transportation are CRITICAL. 
• The candidates must be fully vetted to understand that they have to arrive EARLY for all shifts in order to be clocked in and ready to hit the floor.
• One of the biggest items that everyone will be looking for is an exceptional attitude. 
• Candidates need to be willing to jump in and work. 
• They are willing to speak with new grads, as well as those that have very little experience as long as they are willing to commit to the role. 
• This is temp to hire for the right people, but they really have to want it.
•   The client prefers someone who already has experience in high volume/high demand roles as they understand how that can go.

The hospital credentialing will cover the items below.  These items must be completed and sent over to our team once all have been cleared.  Once again, this is non-negotiable.  There are no waivers offered for any of the items below.  Any Negative Dilute results will be an automatic failure of compliance. 

• 10 panel drug screen
• Vaccination review (Hep B, Quantiferon, MMR, Varicella)
• Full Physical/Medical check
• Flu shot w/in last 10 months
• Color/Vision test
• Respirator/Fit test (N95 mask to be scheduled by the credentialing team, prior to start)
• Candidate email, phone, home address (for credentialing team to reach out for fit test)
