Maintenance Technician in Roseville, MN

1st shift position. Initially, the hours will be 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.

After completing HAZWOPER training, the shift may change to 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

There's a strong possibility of converting to full-time.

Must have plumbing experience

Preference for candidates that have worked in hazardous waste facilities

PPE required - hard hat, safety toe boots, spoggles safety glasses, hearing guard, splash guard (site will provide)

Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial and industrial plumbing, electrical work, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, conveying systems, while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment such as motors, pumps, production machinery, and conveying systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with equipment and devices to ensure optimal performance.
• Calibrate, adjust, fabricate, and repair machinery as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
• Set up and verify the functionality of safety equipment to ensure a secure working environment.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, or in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience working with motors, pumps, and other industrial machinery.
• Previous experience in a technician role is preferred.
• Commitment to following all safety protocols and regulations.
