Description

• The Product Development Tech Transfer Chemist/Professional– R&D (temporary/contingent role) will be reporting to the Dir, Product Development.
• The incumbent will be assisting the lab development, scale up and tech transfer efforts for a wide variety of topical skin care products, including both OTC and cosmetic treatments.

Main Areas of Responsibilities

• Perform process development, stability studies, scale up studies on the bench and pilot scale.
• Write process development reports and protocols for process qualification.
• Participate in process validation as needed.
• Interact with cross functional teams such as Quality, CMO, Project Management, Supply Chain etc. for coordinating R&D efforts.

Required Skills/Qualification

• 3-5 years of industry experience in process development and scale up of cosmetic products.
• Familiarity with bench formulation
• Validation Experience
• Cosmetic Industry experience

Preferred Skills:

• Manufacturing and statistical analysis.

Education

• BS in Chemical engineering, chemistry or equivalent
