Building Inspector - Planning in North Somerset, EN

Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Inspector to join our Building Control Team.
• The Building Control Team are responsible for ensuring compliance of construction works with the Building Regulations.
• In this role, you will manage a caseload of construction projects commensurate to your BSR registration, which will be at least Class 2A.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake plan checks
• Undertake site inspections
• Undertake site inspections in relation to dangerous structures
• Take enforcement action as necessary
• We are looking for an individual who is passionate about building safety and public service, and who possesses the following skills and experience

Essential Criteria:

• Registered with the Building Safety Regulator at Class 2A for plan check and site inspection work
• Ability to plan and organise own work effectively
• Good communication and customer care skills
• Adheres to professional standards and codes of conduct set by the BSR
