Senior Construction Manager in Berwyn, PA

• Required to have a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 10-20 years experience with construction management in the power industry.
• This individual will direct the construction management of the project.
• This position reports to the Project Director and is responsible for all construction activities as well as construction support for start-up and technical activities.

Summary

• A Senior Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.

Responsibilities may include:

• Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Leading and managing project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
• Managing project risks and issues, and developing mitigation strategies.
• Procuring materials, equipment, and services for construction projects.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards on construction sites.
• Preparing and reviewing project documentation, including contracts, reports, and drawings.
• Providing leadership and guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
• Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and senior management to provide updates on project status.
