  • Strong project management experience, including managing timelines, project plans, action lists, preparing internal briefings, managing consultants etc.
  • Advanced written and oral communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

 specialized skills 

  • Technical expertise/experience on nuclear technologies, preferably including advanced nuclear technologies.

Certifications and qualifications, including education/degree

  • Minimum Qualifications: Experience on nuclear energy (including duties that rely on nuclear technical expertise/ understanding), and a nuclear engineering degree or certification (eg bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering; reactor operator license) or highly related engineering or science degree.

Tasks

  • Provide project management for the advanced nuclear team including managing timelines, project plans, action lists, preparing internal briefings, managing consultants, etc;
  • Take lead on and/or contribute to the Advanced Nuclear Master Plan studies;
  • Engage with stakeholders and offer internal advice on nuclear technical aspects; and
  • Other duties that contribute to the key outcomes of the Office of the President and the Advanced Nuclear Plan initiative
